With experience in radio broadcasting, TV presenting, managing social media platforms and media mentoring, Robert John MacInnes is a growing name in Scottish media.
He has been a volunteer radio presenter at Radio Skye (previously Cuillin FM) on the Isle of Skye since 2016, producing and presenting his leading traditional music show 'Friday Night Trad' which showcases the newest releases.
He's also one of the Breakfast and Drivetime presenters, along with Friday Night Trad which was awarded 2nd place in the Specialist Music Show of the Year at the Community Radio Awards.

Robert has filmed, edited and published his own short films and 'vlogs', which have been viewed by tens of thousands of people on social media and used by national media outlets and newspapers.
Robert was chosen as a presenter of a new TV series for Highlands and Islands Enterprise - exploring and showcasing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects, with the films being shown in newly created Newton Rooms across the country.
​As well as presenting in front of camera, Robert is often asked to present live music events and act as ‘Fear an Taighe’ for local ceilidhs.

At the beginning of 2023, he joined the lineup on Mix1 Radio in Edinburgh for four months, bringing a dedicated traditional music show to the station for the very first time.
